I am a well organised, pro-active and results driven designer with over 20 years design experience in the publishing and advertising sectors. For the last 4 years I’ve been operating my home design studio, Redtrike Creative and I have a wide selection of clients in my portfolio, both large and small businesses. Recently I have freelanced on-and-off at Domino’s National Marketing department producing both digital and print executions. I have also freelanced at a couple of Brisbane’s leading design studios servicing clients like Rio Tinto, Destination Brisbane Consortium and Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) to name a few.
I excel at developing and implementing strategic design initiatives in print and digital mediums with key stakeholders, relishing the opportunity to problem solve and make key decisions. I have a proven track record of developing, designing and publishing successful solutions for businesses of varying size and nature, in the property, automotive, government, FMCG, resources, retail, hospitality and corporate sectors.
My skills as a designer range from a very senior strategic level all the way to the finished art and pre-press level. Having this broad range allows me to design more practical, feasible design solutions. In addition, I work well both autonomously and in a team environment and have excellent attention to detail, time management and communication skills. As a senior team member, my philosophy is based on developing honest, positive, mutually beneficial relationships with colleagues, clients, suppliers and managers. This allows me to successfully develop the briefed objectives whilst maintaining professionalism and respect.
I enjoy all aspects of design, taking inspiration from everywhere and everything. I see myself as a very adaptable designer, I love a challenge and pushing the boundaries.

• Adobe Creative suite — Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat and Dreamweaver, and also MS Office, iWork and Omnigraph.
• Proficient in WordPress. Able to implement and modify themes. Manage content and provide training.
• Html and css style sheet coding at an intermediate level.
• As Art Director, I worked closely with the Creative Director and Copywriter, developing ideas and concepts based on creative briefs.
• Actively work within pitch teams to develop ideas and concepts to answer briefs for tenders and submissions.
• Design capabilities range from brand identities, stationery and livery, marketing collateral, press ads, digital media, outdoor, point-of-sale and packaging to name a few.
• Work with Account Managers to attend client meetings and creative briefs.
• Adhere and manage the use of corporate brand guidelines provided by clients.
• Product photography using a pop up photo light tent.
• Proficient in photo manipulation and retouching.
• Upon artwork approval, I perform and oversee the finished art and despatch process.

West Moreton Anglican College approached me to revitalise their 25 year old branding. The challenge was to retain their existing colour palette which consisted of bright primary colours and use it in a more modern contemporary way.
Tyack Health is a integrated health and medical centre that had been established for last 55 years. The main problem they were having was the local community did not know they existed and were unaware that they offered more than just general medical services. They approached me to revitalise their branding which also included a new logo.
Outcome Plus was a startup company offering effective online budgeting tools. I designed and developed their branding which included the logo and branding guidelines, allowing their in-house designer and web developer to develop their marketing collateral and website on brand.
In collaboration with the client, I helped develop the logo, the truck wrap artwork, website and other marketing collateral for one of Brisbane’s most successful food trucks.
Designed and developed the branding for the Green Zebra Restaurant. Included signage, website and other marketing collateral.

Art Director and Lead Designer for the HLB Mann Judd Attributes campaign, developed as a recruitment campaign to demonstrate the type of people and personality attributes that are employed by HLB Mann Judd. Consisted of directing a photo shoot of selected HLB Mann Judd employees and then incorporating into advertising collateral including press and digital mediums.
Art Director and Lead Designer for Minter Ellison Employer Brand Pitch. Creative demonstrating the Employer Value Proposition (EVP) included press and various digital mediums. We were successful and subsequently developed the employer brand.
Art Director and Lead Designer for the AGL Know Your Customer campaign, developed to better educate AGL call centre staff on who their customers are. Consisted of incorporating talent shots into marketing collateral circulated internally.
